Barbara Murray

I am a writer and creator based in Victoria, British Columbia. My first novel, Gifts and Bones (2007, Soames Point Press) garnered a Vancouver Sun Editor’s Award. I hear of the novel’s progress from hither and yon: a professor at New York University contacted me about my research on the Trans-Atlantic cable because she uses Gifts and Bones in her curriculum. Gifts and Bones is the first in The Bea and Mildred Mystery series.

My other fiction works are The Fabric of the Earth (futuristic) and JackieToo and the Noan Chronicles (middle grade fantasy). The Fabric of the Earth is a multi-disciplinary, multi-platform project. Two of its components are a line of clothing and an e-book with embedded media.
