Barbara Murray

I am a writer and creator based in Victoria, British Columbia. My first novel, Gifts and Bones (2007, Soames Point Press) garnered a Vancouver Sun Editor’s Award. I hear of the novel’s progress from hither and yon: a professor at New York University contacted me about my research on the Trans-Atlantic cable because she uses Gifts and Bones in her curriculum. Gifts and Bones is the first in The Bea and Mildred Mystery series.

Of my other fiction projects, the first of the Old Noan Chronicles, JackieToo and the Planetary Peril, is due out in early 2027.
